A. What you liked about this class and things you didn't like about this class.

What I liked aboout this class is that I learned a lot of new careers that I never knew about. And what I didn't like was that we had to use typing tutor it is very boring.

B.List suggestions for improving the class.

1 suggestion is that we should have less time using typing tutor because it get very boring in the class.

2. Amswer: Did you really do your best in this class?

I tried to do my best and I succeeded in doing that.

3. Answer: Are you committed to being a CTR person? Why or Why not?

I am a CTR person because I follow all the rules and yeah.

IDP Showcase

From the beginning the first thing we did was research our disease find information about it, it took us 1 week to finish everything. My topic was about Type 2 Diabetes, Type 2 diabetes is when you are obese and the pancreas doesn't function well to produce enough insulin. My part was to talk about the symptoms Type 2 Diabetes has what what damage it can do, and how is it diagnosed. I leaned that a couple of reasons you get Type 2 Diabetes is by not eating healthy, not exercising enough, being obese, or it just runs through your family and you got Type 2 Diabetes that way. It benefited me by helping me to not get as nervous in the future or to inform people in what information I found. I plan to apply this to when it is actually in front of professionals.

What this means is that you should always do the right instead of doing the wrong. For example, you got invited to a party from your friends and you had a test the next day, what would you have done gone to the party or stayed home. If you had wen't to the party you would have done the wrong thing, and if you had stayed home studying for the test that you had the next day you would have chosen the right. A nother example is, when yourmom tells you to take out the trash and you are playing a video game, and you tell your mom that you will take it out later. But then she tells you the same thing 1 hour later and you say the same thing you were choosing the wrong when you said later. If you would have taken it  out when she told you the first time you would have chosen the right. So if you would ever want something and they never got it its because you never lictened the first time. But if you had all ways done the things they told you to do you would had probably always gotten what you wanted to. If you ever want something don for you from other people then you should be the same way to that person. But, if you never want something done for you then you should not do the right thing but do the wrong thing.

Fear

This quote espisificaly is tells you that as long as you do what is right there is no reason you should feel quilty or fear for yourself. For  example if you see a homeless man on the street and he comes up to you and asks you for some money because he's hungy and you don't give him any you will feel guilty, becasue you actually had money and didn't want to give him any. And,, if you feel guilty you will feel guilty and fear that what if that  was you and you wanted some money for food and they said the same to you. Thats why you should choose the right.

What he is saying is that if you are a good person that commitas to the 3 questions then that means there is no way you are going to be a un successful person. For example when your parent asks you to take out the trash and you say when I'm done with this project, that means your going to take the trash out as soon as you finish. So you finish your project and you go and take out the trash that means you can be trusted to do the right thing. And, when you are commited to doing your very best it means that when you say that you going to finish your project and it's gooing to be good, then you have to keep your promise you have to be commited in order to do and finish it how you said. And, if you want to be treated with respect it means you have to treat everyone around you with respect. For example if you spread a rumor about someone and they find out it was you and you didn't want that it means that they are probably going to say sdomething about you but you dont wan't that but thats what happens whane you spread rumors about someone else. So treat people the way you wan't to be treated.

What this is trying to say that no matter how you look it maters how you think and what you think is right or wrong. This is very true for a lot of people because they think that physical fitness is more important that menal fitness. If you can increase your imagination you will acomplish many things like staying away from drugs, alchohol, and coffee. And, you willl be physicaly fit.

Barcelona

Barcelona is a great place to go because it is enjoyable with anyone you go with friends and family. Barcelona is great because of all the things you can do, like go to essential museums, monuments, walk around the city to explore what they have there. There are many many more things to do there,like listen to what kind of music they have, taste how the food there is, look at the art they have there, go to there soccer fields to play soccer with friends and family, you can also buy great souvenirs. And, you can go explore the outside art they have in Barcelona.The reason I chose this place is because of all the art they have and because my favorite soccer play is from there and lives there. And, Barcelona is the best place to go and visit with friends and family.

Kindness

This statement is trying to tell you is that when ever you are doing something kind it means you have greatness. Like if you see someone on the street and they ask you for money to buy food and you give it to them it shows that you have greatness in you. Its also generous to do that. And, its like helping someone with there groceries because they are very old and you help them with there things its a very kind thing to do and it shows your greatness.

Thanksgiving Week

What I did for Thanksgiving was I ate Turkey, Ham, Rice, Rice and Flan. I went to Walmart, target, and the internet. I met a cousins, aunts, and uncles. I watched 3 movies Zathura, Hitman, and Jingle Jingle all the way. I watched a soccer game America vs a other team. I did read a book called Hatchet. I did math and English homework.I had a very fun school break. Other than all of that it was great being with my friends and family.

Don't do it Don't say it

What this means is that if it is not right don't do it because there will be consequences and also if it is not true means that if it's not true why would you have to say it just keep it to yourself. Because if you do them there will be consequences and you would not like them. Lets say your at school and someone spreads a rumor about your friend and you know what is is and you know it can hurt him just keep it to your self don't tell your friend or he will be hurt. Also if it is not right don't do the wrong thing do the right thing because anything you do can hurt other people and you friends and family.

Thanksgiving is about getting together with you family and celebrating Turkey and prying on that special day,

What thanks giving is really about is to gather all your family and friends together to celebrate Thanksgiving. Also to say what you are really grateful for. Like saying I am grateful for have food on my plate or like I am grateful for having a GREAT FAMILY.

What he is trying to say is that if you always do the right you do it by being honorable and fair to everyone. For example if your playing a game and it involves taking turns. And, one guy says that he calls next but when its going to be his turn someone else takes his turn. That is being unfair to the one who was next and the one who was playing because the guy that was going next had told the other guy and that guy had already said yes.And, if it was the other way if the guy hadn't taken the guy's turn then it would have been fair but the other guy didn't choose the right. And, it doesn't matter if you win or loose as long as you try your best at it. For example you playing a game with your frinds and you loose and you get really mad because you lost and you broke your friends car. As long if you tried thats all you need. And, you would have concequences. And, if you were to just say oh I tried I didn't give up then you wouldn't have broken you friends car and faced the concequences. So you should really try your best at anything no matter if you loose or win always be honorable and fair to others. CHOOSE THE RIGHT PEOPLE!!!

This statement is saying that when you know that someone is doing something wrong and they ask you to join them you have to have the courage to say no don't think about it or you will be helping them. And, when you get in trouble don't lie and say you didn't help or do anything you have to have the courage to say yes it was me I take the blame, it is your responsebility to face the truth that you know you did the wrong thing. And, always do the right thing as in never do something bad that you know will cause problems and lead back to you. If you do all of these thing correctly you will most likely live a successful life. But if you do the opposite of all of this then you will not have a successful life you will probably live somewhere you dont want to.

Health Science Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities: A Health Science Librarian provides access to medical information through books, pamphlets, journals, tapes, multimedia presentations, and the internet. Health Science librarians help Health providers, patients, and students sort through the vast amount of information available.

Salary: There Salary Average is about $58,000 a year.

Education: Students must graduate from High School, taking classes such as English, math, typing, and science. A four-year bachelor’s degree is then required. Including courses such as, science, and computer science. A master’s degree in library science (MLS) is mandatory.

Reflection: I would not like to be a Health Science Librarian because you would basically need lots of things in high school and it will be very stressful that’s why you see lots of people with white hair because of all that stress the get. That is why I would not like to be a Health Science Librarian.

       What is Veterans Day?

A public holiday held on the anniversary of the end of World War 1 November 11 to honor US veterans and victims of all wars. It replaced Armistice Day in 1954.

        When is it?

It is on Nov  11

       What is the purpose of Veterans Day?

To honor all the US Veterans and the victims of the War they had to face.

       Why is it important to show honor on Veterans day?

It  is important because if it wasn’t for the Veterans we would have bin fighting for our freedom.

       List several ways to show honor and respect on Veterans Day.

         Donate to the USO.

         Volunteer at a local USO Chapter.

         Proudly display your American flag.

         Volunteer at a VA Hospital.

         Send your left over Halloween candy to Soldiers.

         Attend a Veterans Day parade.

My interest is that Disney and other movie makers made a movie about Veterans Day exactly how some Soldiers were in it till today.

It is very honorable because if the Veterans didn’t win the war I would probably not be typing this now so I Give a special thanks to all the Veterans in the world where ever they are.

He that walketh with wise men shall be wise:but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

Proverbs 13:20

What this statement is trying to say is that when

 your with wise companions in school you will be 

successful in your school. And, when your with 

companions that are fools you will most likely to 

be a fool with them and not be successful. For 

example when your with your companions that 

are fools and they are doing a lot of bad things 

they are more likely to be arrested. And, when 

you with companions that are hard workers they 

are most likely to succeed with you because they 

didn't do the bad things that your fool companions 

did. And, you will feel great when you succeed when 

you look back at the moment that  you didn't follow you 

fool companions and you'll be glad you chose your wise 

companions. Like if they had asked you to join them and 

drink every day because they did that and you said yes 

that would have ruined your life completely. And if

 you had said no you would have bin in the safe zone.

Or if your in school and they asked you if you wanted 

to ditch school with them and you said yes it could have 

ruined your education. And if you wise friends who study 

hard told you to leave you friends who are fools and you 

said yes that would have bin a great choice for you.

To do Good

This statement means that to always do good because you will feel good. And, always make the right choices even if everyone is against it. Always go with what you know is right and never go with what is wrong. For example you go somewhere where they are doing a lot of bad things and they ask you to join them and you say no that means you are doing the right thing and you are feeling good about yourself later on. Another example is that you are walking and you see people doing drugs and they invite you and you say yes that shows that you are doing the wrong thing instead of the right thing and then you will feel bad about yourself. So choose the right all the time.

What this statement is trying to say is that if you are the only one that is doing the right and everyone is against it. Like if you at a party and everyone is drinking and smoking pot, and you are the only one that is not because you know its the wrong. And, everyone is against you trying to force you to drink and smoke and you keep saying. And, the wrong is when everyone is doing the opposite of what you are doing. And, don't let your self be told what to do and what not to do. Always do the right thing.

Health Educator

Duties and Responsibilities: A Health Educator teaches people about behaviors that promote wellness. They develop and implement strategies to improve the Health of individuals and communities. Community Health workers collect data and discuss Health concerns with members of specific populations or communities.

Salary: $41,830

Education: Health Educators need a bachelor’s degree. Many employers require the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential. Requirements for community Health Workers vary, although they typically have at least a High School Diploma and must complete a brief period of on-the-job-training. Some states have certification programs for community Health Workers.

Reflection: I would not like to be a Health Educator because you have to teach other people what you know. It would be a great job in case I need a other job but this job I would pass on this one job. It also pays very little a year 41,830 is very little in one year, I would choose a different job because of that.

What this means is that if you really want something don' t sacrifice what you wan't now sacrifice what you want later because if you do you will achieve what you want and then what you wanted now will come towards you. You can achieve if you believe and do the things that help you achieve your goal.just like peter Vidmar he became a professional gymnast he became that because who would sacrifice what he wanted now later and what he really wanted now, and he wrote on a little note card that he wanted to get a Gold medal for professional gymnast he would look at the card every time so he would focus on what he really wanted.

Healthcare Administrator

Duties and responsibilities:

In large enterprises, administrators with experience not only work independently but can initiate projects. They also manage subordinate administrative staff.

Salary:  $64,821 per year

Education:

A bachelor’s degree (four years) is the typical entry-level preparation needed for health care administration jobs. Some employers, however, will promote from within or hire other professionals with related experience (such as nurses) who are ideal for an administrative role because of their direct health care knowledge.

Reflection: I would not like to be a health care administrator because you have to do a lot of paper work and file work. And, I don’t realy like to just sit and wait for people to come in to make an appointment.

What this quote is trying to say is that a name is better that riches because being rich can lead to many things. If you have a lot of money you may think that having that money is better than anything but its really not. Because a lot of money can lead to suicide, rip a family apart, divorce, lots of money can also make you get stress. Also, in a way it can be very harmful to you and your family. Also your name defies who you are and how you act. In reality your name is very strong because you are who you are not what money makes you. Money can change you its either you and the money or you and your FAMILY. SO you should really choose the right.
